1. What Information We Collect
We collect Personal Information from you when you use the Services, buy our products, or interact with us on social media platforms. The types of Personal Information we collect include:
Identifiers and contact information, including your name, age, postal address, email address, phone number, username, encrypted password, and unique identifiers that may identify your device or browser.
Location information, including precise geolocation information.
Protected classifications, specifically your gender.
Commercial information, such as your purchase history, your preferences about our products and the Services, payment and account information, and billing dates.
Internet/electronic activity, which includes your IP address, device identifier, browsing activity on the Services; how you interact with our ads and reach our site; and the type of device and browser you're using.
Financial information, such as your payment card number (if you make purchases from us).
Inferences, which we draw from the other Personal Information we collect in order to better identify products and services that may interest you.
2. How We Collect Personal Information
We collect Personal Information in a few different ways. The following explains a little more about how we get this information.
Information You Give Us. If you create an account with our Services, make a purchase, fill out a survey, sign up for emails or the HEYDUDE shoes Rewards Program, enter a contest, or review a product, you give us Personal Information. We also collect your Personal Information when you interact with us through social media.
Sometimes, you can choose not to give us information. For example, you don't have to sign up for emails. But other times, we need your Personal Information to help serve you. For example, we need your billing and shipping information.
Information We Collect Automatically. When you use our Services, we automatically collect information such as identifiers, geolocation information, commercial information, online activity, and inferences. Some of the ways that we automatically collect Personal Information are:

Our sources include public databases and data brokers or aggregators, which provide information about demographics, purchase and shopping habits, lifestyle preferences, and media consumption. We also may receive information about you from other users of the Services, such as when one of our users refers you to us. Combination of Personal Information. We may combine Personal Information from any of the sources listed above.

4. How We Share Personal Information
We share Personal Information with a variety of vendors and third parties in connection with providing the Services and operating our business. These include:
Our Affiliates. We may share your Personal Information with our subsidiaries and affiliated companies for internal reasons, primarily for business and operational purposes.
Advertising Partners. We share your Personal Information with select advertising partners and social media platforms to provide you with relevant advertising on the Services or on other sites or apps.
Service Providers. We may share your Personal Information with companies that provide business, professional or technical support functions on our behalf. For example, our service providers may host or operate the Services, process payments, provide customer service, or deliver products your order.
Security and Anti-Fraud Partners.
Business Transfers. In the event that another entity acquires us or all or substantially all of our assets, or assets related to the Services, your Personal Information may be disclosed to such entity as part of the due diligence process and will be transferred to such entity as one of the transferred assets. Also, if any bankruptcy or reorganization proceeding is brought by or against us, all such Personal Information may be considered an asset of ours and as such may be sold or transferred to third parties.

HEYDUDE shoes may disclose your Personal Information in response to third parties to comply with a warrant, court order, subpoena, or other legal obligation; when we believe in good faith that the law requires it; at the request of governmental authorities conducting an investigation; to enforce our or other applicable policies; to detect and protect against fraud, or any technical or security vulnerabilities; to respond to an emergency; or otherwise to protect the rights, property, safety, or security of third parties, users of the Services, HEYDUDE Shoes, or the public.
Aggregate or Anonymous Non-Personal Information. We may also share aggregate or anonymous (de-identified) information. Such information does not contain Personal Information.

We list the categories of Personal Information that we collect above under “What Information We Collect.” We collect Personal Information for the business and commercial purposes that are described above under “How We Use Personal Information.” HEYDUDE shoes obtains the categories of Personal Information listed above from the following categories of sources:
Directly from you. For example, from forms you complete or information you provide to us when you interact with us.
Indirectly from you. For example, from observing your actions on our website or from information your computer or mobile device transmits when interacting with our website or mobile applications, among other things.
Third parties. For example, we may receive information about you from our affiliates or other third parties we work with to provide you our products and services.

Access and Deletion Requests
If you are a California resident, you have the right to request that we disclose what Personal Information we collect, use, disclose, and may sell about you.
California residents may make the following requests up to two times each year:
The categories and specific pieces of Personal Information that we collected about you in the preceding 12 months, the business purpose for such collection, and corresponding categories of sources from which we collected the information.
The categories of Personal Information, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclosed your Personal Information in the preceding 12 months, and the business or commercial purpose for such disclosure.
The categories of Personal Information and the categories of third parties to whom we sold your Personal Information in the preceding 12 months, and the commercial purpose for such sale.
You can also request that we delete any Personal Information that we have collected from or about you. Note that there are some reasons we will not be able to fully address your request, such as if we need to complete a transaction for you, to detect and protect against fraudulent and illegal activity, to exercise our rights, for our internal purposes, or to comply with a legal obligation.
To take advantage of these rights, contact us by email at email@example.com. We may request certain information to verify your identity before we can respond to your access and deletion requests. HEYDUDE shoes will confirm receiving your request within 10 business days. We will respond to your request within 45 calendar days unless we need additional time, in which case we will let you know.
We value your privacy and will not discriminate in response to you exercising your privacy rights.
You may authorize someone to make a privacy rights request on your behalf (an authorized agent). Authorized agents will need to demonstrate that you've authorized them to act on your behalf, and that they are registered with the California Secretary of State to conduct business in California. Alternatively, your authorized agent must demonstrate you have granted them power of attorney pursuant to applicable probate law.
HEYDUDE shoes reserves the right to request confirmation directly from you confirming that the agent is authorized to make such a request, or to request additional information to confirm the agent's identity. An authorized agent is prohibited from using a consumer's personal information, or any information collected from or about the consumer, for any purpose other than to fulfill the consumer's requests, for verification, or for fraud prevention.
We may offer you certain financial incentives that may result in different prices, rates, or quality levels (for example, contests and rewards programs). Through these offerings, consumers provide us with some personal information (e.g., names, emails, phone numbers) when they opt-in to our programs. There is no obligation to opt-in and consumers may opt-out at any time. The details of each program are contained in the program offering. We offer these programs, among other things, to enhance our relationship with you so you can enjoy more of our products/services at a lower price. We invest heavily in our marketing and brands, in part, so we can provide programs to our customers. Consumer data is valuable to our business only when it is combined with a sufficient number of other consumer data and after it is enhanced by our efforts herein described. The value to our business of any individual consumer's personal information is dependent on a number of factors, including, for example, whether and to what extent you take advantage of any offerings, whether and to what extent you opt out of any offerings, and whether we are able to enhance the data through our efforts herein described. Our ability to create any value from the programs is heavily based on our ability to leverage said intellectual properties. We do not calculate the value of consumer data in our accounting statements.
We use technical, procedural, and physical measures to protect your Personal Information. However, no set of data security measures can be guaranteed to be effective in all circumstances. You use the Services at your own risk.
8. Children's Privacy
HEYDUDE's Services are not directed toward children, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 13.
9. Third-Party Sites
We may link to third-party sites or services that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for these sites, their content, or their data practices. We encourage you to review the policies of any third-party sites you reach through our Services, so that you understand how they collect and use information.
10. Processing of Information in the United Sates and Other Countries
HEYDUDE shoes processes and stores information about our users on servers in several different countries, including the United States. As a result, your Personal Information may be subject to data protection and other laws that may differ from and that may not provide levels of data protection that are equivalent to those of your country of residence. We also may be compelled to disclose Personal Information in response to demands from government agencies and court orders.
